What is it?
Found an image as Base64 in CSS, HTML or an API response? This converter decodes it, detects the real image type from the content and lets you save it as a file.
How it works
Paste the Base64 string or data URI. Check the preview, then download the image.
FAQ
- Which image types are recognised?
- PNG, JPG, WebP, GIF and SVG. Other content, such as HTML or scripts, is rejected.
- The data URI says PNG, but I get a JPG. Why?
- The converter trusts the content, not the label. If they differ, you get the file type that matches the actual data.
- Is there a size limit?
- Yes, decoded images can be up to 5 MB. Everything runs in your browser.
