FAQ

What is the difference between a tint and a shade?
A tint is a color mixed with white, a shade is a color mixed with black.
Which method should I choose?
The OKLCH method only changes lightness and keeps the colorfulness, so steps stay vivid. Mixing in OKLab looks even, mixing in sRGB matches classic tools like Sass.
How do I use the CSS variables?
Paste the block into your stylesheet and use the colors with var(), for example var(--primary-tint-2).
